V2.04 firmware upgrade
This upgrade is compatible with 9640A models with instrument serial number 954455386 and above. These models also have a mod strike of 3 on the rear panel label.
V1.34 firmware upgrade
This firmware upgrade is compatible with 9640A models with instrument serial number 954455385 and below.
Download instructions and a list of firmware revision history, new features and resolved issues for both upgrade versions are documented here. You will be asked to complete a brief product registration form before going to the download page for the first time. You will be asked to complete the form even if you have previously registered your 9640A.
