Official Sweepstakes Rules

1)       No Purchase Necessary.  To enter complete the online entry form and click on the submit button at the end of the entry form and your email address will be automatically entered in to the drawing. Entry form consists of three (3) selections from drop-down menus and one (1) essay question; results will be used to produce application articles. Answers to the questions will have no affect on the outcome of the drawing or chance to win. This promotion begins at 12:01 AM, March 21, 2008  Pacific Time (PT) and ends December 5, 2008  at 11:59 PM; PT, (promotion period).  Submissions received after the end date are void and will not be included in the drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person.

You can also enter the sweepstakes without completing the survey by sending a 3” x 5” card hand written with your name, address and phone number to: How do you use your bench meter,  c/o Fluke Corporation M/S 250E, 6920 Seaway Blvd., Everett, WA 98203. Entries must be postmarked by December 5, 2008.  Limit one (1) entry per person.  

2)    Prize:  (3) Garmin nüvi 660 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigators, Approximate Retail Value $369.99. The Garmin nüvi 660 is equipped with standard features, and color is at the discretion of the promotion sponsor.  The odds of winning depend upon total number of valid entries received. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability. Verified winner will be sent their prize. 

3)    Eligibility:  Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the (50) United States and the District of Columbia  who are 18 years of age or older as of March 21, 2008. Promotion void where prohibited.  Employees, officers and representatives (and members of their immediate families and those living in the same household of each) of Fluke Corporation, its affiliated companies, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and any company involved in the design, execution or production of the promotion are not eligible.

4)    General: Prize winners will be selected in three (3) random drawings from all valid entries on or about June 27, 2008, September 26, 2008, and December 12, 2008.  Product warranties on the Prizes is limited to the original warranty extended by the manufacturer. Any tax liability is the responsibility of the winner. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of sponsor as final in all matters relating to the sweepstakes. Entrants further agree to release sponsor and any participating companies to this promotion, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize.

        Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, including without limitation, server malfunction, virus distribution or by a human error which may occur in the process of recording automatic entries via the sponsor web page. All entries are the property of the Sponsor. Any attempt by an entrant to interfere with the operations of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. If in Sponsor’s opinion, there are on-line entries, which have been generated by any type of automated or automated repetitive process, Sponsor has the option to invalidate such entries. If, in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical or other difficulties outside of Sponsor’s control compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the on-line entry and in such event select a winner through a random drawing from among all valid on-line entries received before such termination prior to the deadline stated in these Official Rules. At the conclusion of the promotion all email addresses collected for the sweepstakes will be deleted.
