Fluke has teamed with The Snell Group, a leading thermographic training company with in-depth knowledge of the Fluke family of thermal imagers, to conduct IR and thermal imaging training courses for Fluke customers throughout the year at convenient sites around the country. The Snell Group

Infrared Thermography On-site Training:

Any Snell Group course can be offered at a customer facility. On-site training can include highly-effective time spent on the customer's plant floor learning to use their specific infrared system. The curriculum can be adjusted to meet specific needs. For a facility with six or more to train the cost savings can be substantial.

Note:  On-site courses are limited to a maximum of 12 attendees.

Training Descriptions

2648695 - Level I: Thermographic Apps
                for Predictive Maintenance

This course is designed for infrared thermopgraphers with no prior training or those who have had only operator training. Snell Infrared uses a variety of techniques, including hands-on demonstrations, to teach about infrared theory, all major applications, and camera operation. The course fully meets ASNT's educational requirements for Level I certification.

2648803 - On Site: Infrared Level I Course (4 days)

This course is designed for infrared thermographers with no prior training or those who have had only operator training. Snell Infrared uses a variety of techniques, including hands-on demonstrations, to teach about infrared theory, all major applications, and camera operation. The course fully meets ASNT's educational requirements for Level I certification.

The curriculum can be adjusted to some extent to best meet your needs and meet the requirements for certification.

2648707 - Abbreviated Level I Course for Building Professionals

Attend only the portions of Level I training relevant to heat theory, camera use and building/roof surveys. Participate only in the Monday evening, Tuesday and Wednesday sessions of any scheduled Level I course for a reduced fee and less time away from your business.


2648718 - Level II: Advanced Thermographic Apps
                for Predictive Maintenance*

This course is for thermographers who have completed Level I training and have had from three to eighteen months experience using thermography. The focus of this course is increasing the practical understanding of interpreting thermal images, exploring the complexities of making radiometric measurements and learning models for prioritizing problems. The course is firmly grounded in applied theory and is packed with examples of real applications and hands-on experiments. The training fully meets ASNT's educational requirements for Level II certification. Previous Level I training is necessary.

2674987 - On Site: Infrared Level II Course (4 days) *

This course is for thermographers who have completed Level I training and have had from three to eighteen months experience using thermography. This course is for the continuing professional development of infrared thermographers who have completed Level II training. It is highly interactive training focused on professional growth. Learn about all aspects of managing a successful infrared program, including reviewing industry best practices and industry standards, establishing personnel certification, and writing inspection procedures.

2648844 - Mechanical Applications*

Application courses are designed for thermographers who have had training or extensive experience already. The focus is not on theory or camera use, but in-depth exploration of mechanical applications.

2648826 - Thermography Mentoring Day

An instructor works with a thermographer one-on-one (or at most, one-on-two) at the thermographer's facility. Typically, this includes jointly conducting inspections, reviewing reports and procedures, and answering questions. Consulting prior to the visit to define needs is included. A mentoring session of at least two days is recommended for best results. (Snell travel included to lower 48 states).
