In this course, you will learn about traceability, use of the function selection codes (FSCs) in MET/CAL and how to write MET/CAL procedures. Attendees will learn to configure MET/CAL software to establish and maintain traceability, create and edit calibration procedures, and customize the format of reports and calibration certificates.

- Relational databases — terminology, structure, tables
- Client-server model — SQL data engine, networks and installation
- MET/CAL —configuration, operation, customization, adding standards, running procedures
- Procedure writing — editor fundamentals, writing new procedures, editing existing procedures
- Reports — using Crystal Reports Professional, modifying reports, customizing reports and certificates
The MET/CAL Procedure Writing course is designed for calibration professionals who have hands-on experience with MET/CAL software prior to the class. New MET/CAL users are recommended to attend the MET/CAL Database & Reports class prior to attending this course.
