FlukeView® Forms Software Updates
FlukeView Forms SoftwareAnyone with FlukeView Forms version 3.0 or later can receive a free software update by clicking the links and downloading the software from this site. Basic users would select the "Basic" link and users with the complete package would select the "plus Designer" link. If your present FlukeView Forms software is older than version 3.0 (less than 3.0) you must purchase new software. Version 3.5 of the software, just released, may be downloaded free of charge for all users with FlukeView Forms versions 3.0 or later. Version 3.5 includes several improvements and new features over version 3.4:

- Modified start-up to automatically search for available parts when the last selected port is not correctly connected to a supported meter.
- Auto compresses connected database on exit from FVF when possible. Makes a backup of the pre-compressed file with the additional extension of ".bak".
- Release compatible with the latest security updates, including utilizing Microsoft's run time libraries in side by side assemblies.
- Modified 289 and 975 instrument support to allow users to choose which session to download (if more than one session) when performing "Get Meter Data".
- Exporting meter data from the 289 virtual meter is now more comprehensive.
- Modified 975 instrument support to display the flow volume value.
- Bug fixes for 189 support when attempting to perform interactive logging from FvF while the meter is logging.
- For the 8846A/8845A, modified change Meter Setup to match the latest instrument release.
- The "File/Export Data" dialog has been simplified and changes have been made in the default selections such that the data is exported in formats both are archival and graphic/processing purposes.
- Fixes a problem when a 1653B overflows its memory usage when saving readings and then tries to upload that data to FVF.

The TrendCapture or TrendCapture Zoom image might be collected to show a client the results of a test recording to illustrate a finding during a troubleshooting session.
One can capture such images while the meter is connected to FlukeView Forms on a computer, while the meter is set to show the desired display. On FlukeView Forms, select Tools-Virtual Meter.
Then, from the pull-down menu, select Meter Display. Finally, click on the Get Screen Shot button to download a Zip file containing the image. You can name and save this file in a folder of your choice.
