What's New in Calibration?
Fluke releases MET/CAL Plus Software Service Pack 3
MET/CAL® Plus Service Pack 3 addresses broader instrument support, adds new procedures and enhancements – improved reports customization, multiple aliases, enhanced flexible standards, new Microsoft® Windows installer, Ethernet SXI-11 and USBTMC control, additional math functionality, and more. We have also made significant code enhancements, allowing us to add new features and modifications in the future more quickly.
MET/CAL Plus Service Pack 3 includes a comprehensive set of procedures which you can use right out of the box to automate many popular pieces of test equipment. Even more procedures are available for purchase, or included free with a MET/SUPPORT Gold software support program. Also, new FSCs in MET/CAL Plus Service Pack 3 allows MET/CAL Plus software to address a much expanded workload.

(Note to MET/CAL customers: If you received MET/CAL SP1 when it was released, you might be wondering if there was ever an SP2. That version was only released internally, but all features included in it have been rolled into SP3. The readme files installed with MET/TRACK® software lists the changes in SP2 and SP3 separately.)

The DH Instruments Division of Fluke Corporation has announced a major update to its molbloc™/molbox™ gas flow calibration system resulting in significantly improved accuracy. The new molbox1+ flow terminal enables users to achieve ±0.125 percent of reading flow measurement uncertainty, while an added molbox terminal configuration, molbox1+S, improves high flow rangeability and versatility without the need for vacuum pumps.
